About Us...

Freeway Support International is a company located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The Service was started in 1995 and was intended to support the newly emerging digital satellite television technology initiated by the American giant Directv and their more recent competitor Dish Network. It wasn't long before the Canadian services, ExpressVu and Star Choice arrived on the scent.

Freeway's role became one of responding to requests from all over North America, to provide television services where such services were normally not available.

  • We provide service to Canadian Snowbirds wintering in the USA and Mexico, who long to keep in touch with home.
  • We provide service to families and loved ones of young Americans toiling in the Canadian Football League who want to watch their heroes play.
  • We provide service in French to enclaves of French speaking folks across North America who would not normally have access.
  • We provide access to the better hockey and curling coverage than anywhere in the world.
  • We provide access to ethnic programming for people unfortunate enough to live in area's where conventional providers find the offering of these services to be uneconomical.

These requests for service reflect inadequacies in existing services which do not get a lot of attention at government levels in today's world of international terrorism and high fuel prices. We do, however feel that what we do, enhances our customer's enjoyment of life and this is our ultimate goal.
We wish to make it perfectly clear that all programming that we broker is paid for. We do not condone the black market hacking of encryption systems that has become so prevalent and so damaging to the industry. We only provide programming at fair market value.

If you wish to maintain or improve the quality of programming you currently enjoy, please don't steal it!
